Hello Mark, I am also a collector of this elfverson/Stromberg type of glass but have never discovered a signed dunne cooke .Nice find.
Do you have a copy of the glass association journal volume 8 which carries the early elfverson/Stromberg catalouges ?.
Your vase seems to be similar to 3062 on page 43 and the colour pictures on page 63.
I recently picked up a light blue ripple vase as shown on page 64.
All the best,
Tim.

Hi Thaige.

Unfortunately I don't have a copy of volume 8, I've seen a few pics on the association page though  :(. But I'm hoping some kind sole reading this will bring one to the glass fair  ;D ;D ( Wolfie ). I only have four of these vases but all are different colours.

I'm really pleased to find a Dunne Cooke signed piece, it's the smallest one I have too.

Marc, are pieces not associated with the 1930s?

Hi Wolfie.

I have very little info on them so I really need to see the GA vol 8. I will take it to the glass fair to get opinions. I'm pretty sure it's right but I'm open to other views. As I said I collect these vases anyway so it's a talking point if it's not right. It looks scruffy enough to be Dunne Cooke and I can't see why anyone would fake his signature as he's not well known or collected. Have a look at the fair and see what you think please. I know you'll give an honest opinion  ;D.

Would also be nice to see what Ollie thinks as I know he's a Dunne Cooke collector.

Im not say for minute its a fake sig, I just think it would be more likely to be 1932? Im no expert on these though :)
