It's a very interesting read. I understand what you mean now Wolfie and I agree, I would have associated these with the 30s and the little info I have put DC at Strombergshyttan just in the 30s too. The date on this piece however is definitely '52 though.  :-\

Hi! I think the signing can be 32 instead of 52? In that case the vase is produced in Eda Glasbruk Sweden (Str?mberg family was on Eda 1927-1933, and from 1933 Lindefors/Str?mbergshyttan). The vase 3053A in the Elverson catalogue is in a photo in my book from Eda, and also there it's called  3053A. It's very likely that also this glass is from Eda. It says in the Eda book that they produced glass models for Elverson. In some pictures the glass have label "Elfverson Glassware".

Hi Nils. I must apologise, the photo was taken before I cleaned it (I was rather exited). In this one it is clearer and definatly '52.

Another possibility: 8" high, 6" wide, 52 something? weight volume...

I saw this vase yesterday and it was defo '52, it does surprise me its not '32 aswell. Maybe he got the year wrong :D
